BEACH PARK TO REMAIN OPEN WITH LIFEGUARDS UNTIL SEPTEMBER 1ST

Summary:

The Town of Hanover operates a public beach park located in Sunset Bay on South Shore Drive. 

 

Swimming is permitted only when lifeguards are on duty. 

Lifeguards will be on duty daily from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and as weather and water conditions permit. 

 

Concerns or questions regarding the Town Beach Park may be directed to Supervisor Kathy Tampio at 934-2273.

 

LET'S ALL HAVE A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE SUMMER! 

PLEASE OBSERVE SAVE SWIMMING PRACTICES AND HELP KEEP OUR BEACH CLEAN BY DEPOSITING TRASH IN THE RECEPTICLES PROVIDED.

 

Beach Park rules includeno glass containers, no alcoholic beverages, no open fires, no dogs, and no littering.

 

The beach park features a newly renovated restroom facility, a pavilion with picnic tables, a children's playground and cooking grills.  A parking area is available to town residents by obtaining a permit at the Town Clerk's office.
