Information:

Beach park rules are as follows: No swimming off the breakwall, No bicycles on the breakwall, No alcoholic beverages, No glass containers, No pets in beach area, No littering (subject to possible $100 fine) 11:00 p.m. curfew for individuals under 18 years of age, No camping, No open fires, No sleeping on the Town Park between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m..

Beach Parking Lot rules as follows: Parking permit required, Open for parking from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., No overnight parking, No vehicles over 3 tons allowed, No recreational activities allowed-activities expressly prohibited are; roller blading, skating, hockey, lacrosse, bike riding, soccer, football, baseball, kickball, playing or other related and similar activities.

Hours:
Lifeguards are scheduled to be on duty daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the summer months of July and August.
Restrictions:

Swimming permitted only when lifeguards on duty.  

 

Maximum capacity = 300.

Facilities:
This sandy bathing beach is on the shore of Lake Erie. A public swimming beach, picnic pavilion, charcoal grills, playground, restrooms and parking area are free to the public and handicapped accessible.
Reservations:
Beach Parking lot is available for use by Town of Hanover residents or property owners who have acquired a parking permit from the Town Clerk's office. No reservations are necessary to use the beach.
